I'm having a problem with "saving as web page" in P2000. While I've done
this many times before, now I'm unable too. I keep getting a message that
says "Publisher could not save the file to the web. Please check your URL or
network connection and try again." I've tried everything I know to do --
including disabling my firewall. All to know avail. Any suggestions?

Are sure you are using Publisher 2000? I use 2000 and when Saving to a
webpage it saves the html and image files to my hard drive and then I upload
the files to the IP server using a ftp.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. Yes, it is P2000... it saves to my hard drive and
then I'm uploading via ftp. This is when I get the message. My internet
connection is high speed fiber optic, and like I said -- I've even turned off
my firewall. Any suggestions?

Things are getting more confusing; when uploading files using a ftp
Publisher is not working. You shouldn't be getting a "Publisher could not
save the file to the web" message. A ftp doesn't know what program the files
were created with, it only knows its uploading files. Best to revaluate
what you are doing.

Well I am getting a Publisher message and am unable to resolve the issue. So
I've re-created the website with FrontPage and will not be using P2000 for
website work in the future.
