how do i insert a video clip (html code,just insert,hyperlink?)?

I am trying to insert a .wmv video clip on my webpage. I can copy and paste,
but will it show when I publish to the web? I want ppl to click on a clipart
and get the video to open in Windows Media player. Do I need to creat a
hyperlink? This has been frustrating me for 2 days. If I creat a hyper link
through from my computer though, my host doesn't seem to recognize it. I'm
using FTP and it still doesn't seem to go there.
I've been trying to open it in Web Preview mode. Is that wrong? Should I
just go ahead and publish it to my host?

You will want to upload the video file and link to it. Reference "Including
external files in a Publisher web"
