I have been assigned the task of creating a web page for the organization I
work for. I have used FrontPage 2003 but the organization only has FrontPage
2000.

I looked into purchasing the latest version of FrontPage rather then going
with a non-Microsoft product. I am familiar with MS products and like the
availability of their training.

There are no new releases planed for FrontPage and was told FrontPage will
be replaced by Publisher’s Web page capabilities in a new release.

I am not satisfied with Publisher 2003 as a web page designer and want to
know what the plans are for Publisher in the near future. I'd like to
purchase something to use now with out being out dated the same day I buy it.

FrontPage is be "redesigned", but it is not being replaced with Publisher.
Like many other Office programs, Publisher can be used to create sites
however that's not the primary purpose. MS will have a web creating program.

FrontPage 2003 will be supported until 2009 I believe. There is a new web
design application called Expression Web Designer that will carry on..it's
not released yet but you can read about it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/products/e...en/default.mspx

You can still buy FP2003 upgrades - but not through MS, check Amazon or any
reputable software seller.
