when i try to save my web site using the publish to the web with publisher i
get thi error message
folder is marked as read only
yet if i use cute ftp it works just fine and then the gif files do not show
up on the page. can some one please help me thank you

because when you use third party ftp it wacks the fp extensions.

yes I understand that but I deleted the whole web site and started fresh so
can some one tell me how to fix it please thank you

Re-install the FP extensions if you have access to the control panel, or
have your host do it. Then publish viat the Publish method outlined in other
posts and links in this newsgroop.
