Author Why won't my form submit data?

how do i get my form to submit data by email? everything looks fine but when
i test the form it doesn't work. Clicking submit sends me to "webbot self"

does your online web have frontpage extensions installed and working?

yes they do, it turns out that as I have almost no web site skills to speak
of publisher help files presume you know what a mail handler is and that you
need to get one any suggestions on this greatly appreciated

you shouldn't need a separate mail handler if you have FP extensions enabled
and your host allows FP to use its mailer.

frontpage extensions version 5 are on the server. cant find how to enable the
FP extensions in publisheror where theyre put when i sane as html, are the in
the web page folder

contact your host and ask if they allow the FP mailer to work...some don't
