How do I edit the head with notepad

I have Pub 2000. How do I get the HTML into note pad in
the first place. Thanks! Bill

Basic Windows procedures.
Such as...
open Notepad, go to File, Open, browse to html file, open.
or
right click html file, select Open..., select Notepad program.

Be sure you understand that manual edits are lost after Publisher edits and
are discouraged by this MVP.
