how do you animate text/word art in publisher (the same way you can animate a
slide or an object in Powerpoint)??

thanks david but are you sure and what about animating normal txt to apply to
web design sort of like flash have you any ideas ????

Google for 'animated gif files'...or perhaps look up the subject in the Help
section of your favorite image editing software. You create them outside of
Publisher and insert them as an image.
