JPG and AOL browser problem
|
|
|
| I am using Microsoft Office Publisher 2002 to make a simple website with
images. I converted images in Photoshop 3.0 and made my photographs into
JPG's for the web. I inserted these photos onto my Publisher website. I am
using a PC with windows and AOL browser. The JPG's do not load and appear
with red X's. However, other JPG's on other websites load. The JPG's are
visible on my website when I view it on macintosh computers with internet
explorer.
Why can't I view these images on a publisher document online with my AOL
browser?
I have investigated http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 but
did not find the answers,
my website is : www.geocities.com/carlaaspenberg
thank you

| It's fine with IE. Odd sculptures, but looks fine.
(By the way, is that one piece of sculpture........... Let me ask this -
what does the red sculpture represent?)

| Did you update 2002 to Service Pack 3?
Service Pack links are listed on http://www.publishermvps.com
Make sure you are at SP3 level and then delete old site files and republish
using File, Export...

| HI JoAnn,
Glad to know it works with Internet Explorer, strange they don't load with
AOL 9.0. oh well. yes, there are many different views of one sculpture.
two sculptures in total are in that section. They are about akwardness of
the body and creating broken creatures. alot of fun and work to make!

| AOL's browser does some really bizarre things to websites. I've tried
fighting with some issues - I gave up.
