| i'm going through the steps of publishing my website to
an ftp site (designed on Publisher 03). I've been
following the procedures listed in the "3 top questions
about publishing a web site". I've managed to create an
ftp site in the FTP Locations folder. Problems arise when
I actually try and publish the site - really step 4. I
double click the ftp site I added, then there is no
folder to double click - although a file name "index"
appears at the bottom. When I click save, I get the
message: Cannot save "ftp:/....../index.htm" The folder
is marked as read only. Not sure what to do from here?
Please help!

| are you prompted for your servers username and password?
this sounds like a host issue.
verify with your host that ftp access and permissions are setup properly for
your account.

| I am having this problem trying to update. I can log into my ftp and
everything shows up there. But when I try to publish, the files are not
there?
