under object you post vido clip even with an icon but when converted in to a
web page the icon dosent work and thus no video clip

Inserting an object is Microsoft's "OLE" technology. It is simply not
relevant in a web publication.
A media file is an external file that needs to be uploaded separately and
linked to, I have an article on this at -
