I'm puzzled. I've been using Pub 2000 for my website for
several years and have had very little problems with it.

Now I've got Pub 2003. I thought I liked it because I
just redesigned my entire website -- making it more
functional by including many more .pdf documents.

When I uploaded the website, none of the .pdf file links
work. After paying $35 today to speak with a MS tech,
I'm still no where.

In Pub 2000, all the .pdf files automatically transferred
over when I saved as a webpage. Now, they don't. So,
I've copied them into a website folder, then saved the
website to the same folder. Again, I uploaded site to
server (I'm using FTP Pro) and again --no links.

There were major changes in version 2002 from 2000. I highly recommend you
visit my sites 2002 section to learn about the changes since you apparently
skipped that version.
One of the changes was that external files are no longer included with the
publisher site files.

Microsoft has this documented at

support rep should have brought to your attention.
Please educate yourself on the changes made in 2002 and then visit
http://www.davidbartosik.com/pub11.htm where I discuss the changes added in
2003.

If you link to the external file on your local drive then the link written
in the html code will always be a local link and thus never work online. The
file must be on the server and the link must be a url to that file. Upload
the pdf file to your server and then set the link to it's url.

I do recommend publishing in Pub rather than using another tool. If you
don't know how refer to

Now I've read everything and still don't know what needs
to be done. My website is www.legal-eaze.com. Where and
how do I go in to change the links on the external
files. I have everything saved to a file that I upload
using FTP Pro. No matter what I do, the links keep
pointing back to my c:\ drive. I'm lost. I need my
links to work because this is for my business.

Select text or graphic to hyperlink, right click, select hyperlink, in the
hyperlink dialog select the existing web file option, and in the address box
enter the URL of the pdf file ( i.e
http://www.mysitename.com/mypdffile.pdf )

As I stated before you cannot set the hyperlink to the pdf on your machine.
Set it to the pdf on the server as stated above. of course you first have to
upload the pdf file ( that's what you've got ftp pro for ).
