GlacierCan someone please help me regarding DreamWeaver MX? I have all the updates and patches, but I just simply cannot get my library items to work right. Whenever I update a library item or make changes...it DUPLICATES itself on each page that has the library! Why is that? What can I do to prevent this?

For instance, I use my footer on a website created as a library so if I need to update and add links...it was only take a quick second to do. When I am done and update the entire site....I will see the footer on each page...like 3 or 4 times! HELP!

GlacierThis is a Microsoft Community, not MacroMedia.
This is a forum for users of Publisher, not DreamWeaver.
I recommend you visit macromedia's site for the appropriate forum to serve
you.

Why get mad at David? He responded to your question in a completely
appropriate fashion. He said nothing untoward. He merely suggest that you
direct your question to to MacroMedia. THEY are the ones you need to be
upset with - not David. It's not his fault you didn't get help from the
software developer/newsgroup/forum.

What's with the name calling here, when I'm telling you how to get help?
It took me all of two seconds on google to find your thread -
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/w...threadid=825131 -
and to find that someone is apparently trying to assist you in that thread
but you haven't responded to it.
Call me a smart*** if you want but I can't help but think you'll get a
better experience from having someone helping you that is experienced in
your product and knowledgeable about that product in a community for that
product and for you that products customer, than say in a place where the
only thing even resembling a similarity is that the product manufacturers
names start with the same letter.
