I too am finding excessive and junk source code when using Microsoft Pulisher
2003-SP1... how do i get rid of it or clean it up...i tried updating and it
says i have the latest updates.

I don't think you can. It's a Publisher thing. If you don't want the excess
code, may I suggest using FrontPage?

JoAnn is correct. It's not an html editor so you either have to accept it or
"fire it".
