| PayPal is only one part - I need to know the steps involved for the whole
project. How to have the membership entry forms linked to a managable
database that will have an auto response and have member only pages on the
web site, etc.....
Perhaps I am overcomplicating it - If someone has set up a
membership/subscription site before, it would be a great help to see a step
by step processs to folow for development.
Thanks

| There is no "canned" package that will do it for you
- and it all depends on your server host type (Windows or not) and what they support
You might find some ASP or PHP membership management packages
- but you will probably need to engage a developer familiar w/ both Databases and Server side coding (for the platform your host
supports)

| not entirely correct. www.xoops.org has a module for what you want but you
would need to build your entire site (or sizeable portion on xoops).
It does have a html module sotha should you specifically want to build
something not already available that you could design this yourself.
From the sound of your question, this with a $8 a month hosted option might
be the way for you to go.
Cheers,
Dean
