Author want to insert a field on a page to be updated daily via ftp

2004-12-26, 7:14 pm

I am looking for a way to set up a field on a web page: Called NOTES Then
I want to set up a batch pgm that will allow a (non technical) person to
change field NOTES to update it with daily information or weather
conditions.

I want the batch pgm to be able to ftp and update that field on my web site
to specific typed in text. Maybe with microsoft access?

I am looking for a way for a non technical person to update a field on a web
page. So i want to insert a field in a page and get a way for the person
to update that field without needing 'front page'

is this doable??

thanks

you could use my app www.contentseed.com to do this without requiring any
kind of ftp-ing or anything.

there are other programs like http://www.mezzoblue.com/bluespark/
which you could use, but you'd have to come up with your own "system".
