| Hi everybody,
I had to reinstall FP 2003 on my laptop after re-format of hard drive. I am
running XP Pro with all available updates. Also have installed Office 2003
again all updates including SP3. When I open FP and click any button, the
programme freezes (page not responding) I am then asked to report the details
to Microsoft, which I do, a solution is offered, of downloading SP3 (which
takes 19 minutes) I do that and still the same problem. I have
uninstalled/reinstalled FP and still the same problem. If I attempt to edit
my website through FP, "on the fly" the same problem. Any help on this
would be welcome, Thanks, Dave

| After you re-install FP, have you checked the update.microsoft.com website?
The reason I ask is FP may have replaced some of the shared office
components when you re-installed it and there's a chance (albeit slim) that
that's causing the problem. Sometimes after re-installing a program,
checking the MS update site can fix some things.

Hope this helps,

| Hi Mark, Thanks for your response. I did check and no updates were required.
