Just got a new computer with Vista and FP 2000 will not connect to any
servers. Acts like it's not even searching. I go to file-open web- and
enter any url with the http:// and it immedietly tells me I don't have
permission to that folder. Acts like it's trying to find the website on my
machine.

However, I can go to a website in my IE browser, hit the edit with FP
button, and it gives me the login & passord fields and I can login fine, use
the program fine and save fine.

Any suggestions as to why I can't "Open Web"?

I first thought maybe it was the macafee firewall causing the problem, it
wasn't listed as a program, so I added it, but still no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Can you right click on FP and say Run as Administrator?

Remove an incompatible program from your computer before you upgrade
to Windows Vista.
. Download and install an update for the incompatible program.
. Obtain a later version of the incompatible program
