Hi! I'm very new to Front Page.... When I insert a picture (.JPG) from my
desktop and save the web page, the picture is not storing in the web page,
which makes it unavailable from anywhere but my PC. The picture properties
is still showing my C:\ drive. I've tried copying the .JPG file from my
Desktop to the web page on "My Network Places", but I keep getting an error
message. Not sure what else to try??? Thanks!

You need to copy the picture to a location "inside" your web and then link to it.
Most people use the images folder inside the web for this.

But when I try to paste to the images folder I get the error "An error
occurred copying some or all of the selected files." Can you tell what I'm
doing wrong?
Thanks for your help!

Import them or drag drop...not paste.

I figured out my problem ... it was so silly. My image file was named "Slide
#3.jpg". Front Page allowed me to insert the image with that file name ...
but wouldn't allowed me to save or paste or drag/drop with that name to the
images folder. Unfortunately, it also didn't tell me WHY it wouldn't allow
it ... it just said an error occurred. Once I noticed the format of all
other image files and changed the file name to "Slide3.jpg" my problem went
away. Just giving you the update in case you hear of someone else with the
same problem.
Thanks for your help!
