I've developed a website where a client can view ads (in .mov or .wmv
format) that have been created for the client. Some of these files are
quite large. Is there an easy way that I can place a link to allow the
client to download the file to their desktop?

Place a note by the links telling them to right click and "Save as"

Or, zip the files and then link to the zips. Zip files always force a
download prompt.

Just place a note next to the link, to right click and select Save to Disk, etc.
