Front Page - Service.lck error

Hi,

When opening the index.htm on one my servers I get a
message "server extensions were unable to access the file
web\_vti_pvt\service.lck "
Path is
\\servername\web\abc\index.htm .I have write access to
the abc directory and the web directory has everyone read.
I tried renaming the file service.lck...doesnt help.

Any ideas?

it also happens when you copy web from CDRom as the files are Read Only =
on CD unless you zipped it.
