I just replaced my computer and now have Windows Xp, old system was ME. Now
when I modify one of m,y existing webpages, I am unable to save the changes.
What am I missing?

how did you "move" the web from one system to the other?
sometimes when you do this with a CD it'll keep the "read only" attribute of
the disk.

find your web on the new system, right click it and reveal "properties",
then clear the read only checkbox. if you're asked whether you want just
this folder or the folder and all it's contents, chose the "everything"
option.
this ability was one of my favorite discoveries in windows xp, prior to that
you had to use the xcopy command from a DOS prompt.
