FrontPage Initially Saves Slowly

| Slow File Saver! 2004-09-30, 7:15 pm |
| Hello All,
When I open my web to modify a file, it doesn't matter which file, I then go
to save the file, Frontpage takes around 2 minutes to save it, thereafter, as
long as the web is open, I am able to save any other file in a short amount
of time.
Why, pray tell, why?

| Hi Mark:
Delete the cached (and possibly corrupted) copy of your web - Close
FrontPage, and do a Find | Files and Folders | Named *.web, and delete them.
Do not delete any *.web files associated with Xara, if you use any Xara
products.

| Thanks for replying Kathleen. I do, in fact, use Xara and just started using
them, but my problem happened long before that.
Is there some way to work around this problem if I do use Xara products?
Also, could it just be that I have way too many files and folders within
this particular FrontPage web?

| FP stores the *.web files on your PC under
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
