I have created a Search Form in FP 2000. Every so often it does not work and
it returns an error that reads: "Error from search: total_word_count not
found in dictionary .This is either an error,or the database is old."

Any ideas on what I could do to resolve this.

Try Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks.
