jpegs and links not working
|
|
|
| After creating my website using Front Page 2000, uploaded
it to my ISP but the jpegs didn't load and two of my links
led to error 404 message - file not found. Everything
worked fine when I previewed it on Front Page. And the
links that don't work were created the exact same way with
the other links that worked. Checked for broken links but
none were found. Used Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard,
Window ME and IE 6.0. Can anyone help?

| Does the remote server have the FP extensions? If so then use FP2000 to publish to the remote
server, not the WPW.

| A URL would be a big help...
Did you import the images into FP? Check the picture
properties to see where the image is located. If that image
is not in your web then it most likely will not appear on
your site.

| so many variables in solving your problem..more info & url would be =
helpful...although I notice that you are calling a jpg a jpeg...you may =
want to check your file name to make sure it's named .jpg (although they =
are the same as jpeg...sometimes its a problem if you use jpeg as the =
extension.)...just another guess here.
