It's not redirecting
- it is serving your custom confirmation page using the FP SE
If your form is contact.htm, the confirmation page should not be contact.htm
(it should be some other page or a custom confirmation page you have created and set in Form Properties of contact.htm)

| I have two forms on our website that redirect the user to
| a confirmation form (a basic thank you statement).
|
| For some reason both my forms are redirecting to a
| subdirectory as follows:
|
| _vti_bin/shtml.exe/contact.html
|
| When this happens, the menu links are no longer valid, and
| my user will get error after error trying to move off that
| confirmation page.
|
| Any ideas why my forms are redirecting into this
| subdirectory this way?
|
| Any help would be appreciated.

My confirmation form is contact.confirm.html, so I'm not
using the same html page for the confirmation.

contact.confirm.html is an illegal file name
make it contact_confirm.html
