"an error occurred accessing your frontpage web files. Authors"

| I have just installed a nice template I purchased to use
with FP 2000 but when I try to use it, I get this
unhelpful message "an error occurred accessing your
frontpage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web
server, please contact the webmaster for this server's
site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for
moer details." What webmaster? What server? This is a
standalone machine!
I checked and the template is installed in: C:Program
Files/microsoft frontpage/Templates/1033/Webs
There is another place c:FPTemplates and I installed it
there, too.
There are some standard system templates that seem to all
be the same.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
