I just purchased FP2000 w. a manual and a CD for FP 98 to install. WHen I try to install the FP 98, which I've been told to do 1st, the setup Wiz looks for 'prior' FP required products [what are they?] and finding none, exits the setup. I am running Win
98SE/Office200. Can one 1 help?

You need to contact the person / company you purchased the "CD's" from.!!

It's apparently an upgrade version of FP, and it requires a previous version
in order to install. Looks like you got hooked.

Hi Jack,

It sounds like the 98 CD is an upgrade version. If so and the 2000 disc is
also an upgrade version it won't work.

Jack, Try the following:

You do not need to install FP98!

Start the install from the FP2000 CD and then when prompted for a qualifying product, remove the
FP2000 CD, then insert the FP98 CD, and change the dialog to point to the CD drive, once finish
replace with the FP2000 CD and complete the install of FP2000.

It really shouldn't matter if FP98 is a upgrade version.
