Try http://www.freefind.com. They have both site and web
search for free and it works great. It can be customized
and they spider your site at intervals specified by you.

on adding a search feature to my site. I hate the
integrated feature of FP 2003, it's bulky, non-
customizable and the results page shows just the page
with the search topic.

search to my site. I have very little programming
language. Does anybody know of a tutorial out there that
would show me how to create a search box using ASP or
HTML. I would like to have as small of a footprint as
possible. Similar to the one above for microsoft. I
have tried the free code snipits from atomz, etc. and
they are mostly add based or restrictive, that is why I
would like to create one on my end, but again I am
wanting my cake and eating it too, since I have little
programming experience. I am using FP 2003 for a reason:)
