Opening pdf hyperlink in new window crashes IE

| I'm using FP 2002. I have hyperlinks to .pdf files. If I set the hyperlinks to open the pdf in the same browser window, it works fine. If I set the target to open the pdf in a New Window, the pdf opens correctly, but after I close that new IE (6.0.2800
.1106), my original IE window is unresponsive, and after about 30 seconds shuts down.
The correctly working link is at http://www.olypen.com/peninsulatennisclub/news.htm, the "entry form" link under #4. This works fine if opened in the same window, as currently set. But, if I open the pdf into a new window, IE crashes after I close the pd
f window. I tried taking the spaces out of the pdf filename, and it still crashes if opened in a new window.
Any ideas?

| I added some links that display this behavior on my machine. Go to www.olypen.com\peninsulatennisclub\links.htm at the very bottom of the page, I have two "test links". The first link opens in the same window, and works fine. The second opens a pdf in
a new window, and crashes IE on my machine everytime after I close the pdf window .

| File not found at
www.olypen.com\peninsulatennisclub\links.htm
The only pdf I found at
http://www.olypen.com/peninsulatennisclub/news.htm
was
http://www.olypen.com/peninsulatenn...uim%20Entry.pdf
Did not open in new window (set the hyperlink target to New Window) and gave me no problems when I navigated back from it
But
Remove all spaces & punctuation from file / folder names
- breaks links and illegal html

| yah but if you enter it as: =
http://www.olypen.com/peninsulatennisclub/Links.htm
you'll find it. However, the pdf's there under test1 test2 open just =
fine for me.
But neither of them open in a new window.
perhaps a file naming problem?
