copying web from online to computer

| I am trying to copy my site from online to my computer and FP will not let
me do it. I am using the publish web function.

| Server is Apache and computer is WinME
I Open the live web and the click file | publish web
I then click on "include sub webs" and I am sure to select all files.
It starts and then just stops. no error message or anything.

dragging and dropping into "my webs". It still does not work. NO error
message either.

| you can drag and drop the files from one to the other. I see what you mean the
publish thing is disabled when I right click a file on the server listing, it
won't 'publish' to local machine (not technically publishing, but copying I
suppose - isn't 'file transfer protocol' a two way street?

| when you are telling it to publish to My Webs, are you naming the web =
(it's hard to see it sometimes in FP2002), if the web doesnt exist =
locally it will prompt you to create it...is that happening?
(i cant tell ya how many times i've inadvertantly overwritten a local =
web because of this...duh on me)

| yes, it does prompt me to create it. After I do that and name it, it starts
and then just stops. No error message or anything. I cannot find any

when you are telling it to publish to My Webs, are you naming the web (it's
hard to see it sometimes in FP2002), if the web doesnt exist locally it will
prompt you to create it...is that happening?
(i cant tell ya how many times i've inadvertantly overwritten a local web
because of this...duh on me)
