| I have a website that I would like only 'subscribers' to have access to some portions. Is there a way to allow them to enter by entering their email address and password using Front Page?

| Hi,
Create a new sub web and set to Unique Permissions. Add users who needs
access to that sub web.

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
