FP has disappeared from my system
|
|

| Problem solved -
Right after I posted my question, another possible
solution occurred to me. I used the install disk to
uninstall the product, then started over from scratch.
Now it's working.
I still don't have an explanation for why it disappeared
in the first place, but at least I can work now!

| All that disappeared was the desktop icon (shortcut) to FP
- Win XP has a "feature" to remove unused desktop icons periodically
(you can turn that off next time you are asked to remove unused icons)
- next time it disappears you can create a new one from Start All Program
(find FP and send it to your desktop as a shortcut)

| Actually no. The icon was still there, but wouldn't work. I went searching for the program on my hard drive, and the front page folder was empty. I did a search for the .exe file, and it was nowhere to be found on my system. But thanks for resp
onding, anyway.

| Then the best option is to re-install FP.
