Okay, for some reason this is giving me a bunch of trouble.....
How in the world do I get the guestbook to work? I make another file called guestlog for the results to be stored in but nothing works. This is what I do. I open the guestbook template. I don' t even change anything, I just save it as guestbook. I go to t
he page and when I submit the entry it says it can' t find the page. And the address in the address bar says: --WEB-BOT-- at the end of it..... I see that in the HTML coding but why does it come up like that? Is there anything I have to change in the codi
ng? And I even go back to the guestbook page to reload it and still nothing happens. All I want to do is just make this form work......simply write a comment and then it shows up on a different page or even the same page, it doesnt matter as long as it wo
rks.

What is going on? Please help.

Is the guest book running on a server with the FP server extensions?

I'm having the same problem. My host is running extensions. When I check the
properties of the guestbook it shoes this error message

(1) Page "guestbook.htm" contains an include that is recursive, or that is
nested. Aborted processing link information and FrontPage Components after
including 256 pages at the inclusion of "guestbook.htm".

Means your include page (which should be pointing to _private/guestlog.htm) is pointing to the same page it is in (probably
guestbook.htm)

Ok, put guestlog.htm in the remote site private folder. I then linked the
guestbook.htm form (where to store results) to _private/guestlog.htm. Now
when I go to the site and try to submit I get /--WEBBOT-SELF-- in IE.

I looked at the code and found a line pointing to the wrong page. I fixed it
and all was going fine, for a second...

Looks like I can't do this on this type of host.

Thanks for your help.

You can not insert a upload component into the guest book or discussion web components.
