Front Page page margin

| In trying to edit the page margin, I find that there is
no "margin" tab in the "page properties" window. Even my
instrustion booklet shows two different "version"
(pictures) of this window - one show the margin tab, one
without. ??

| With your page open click Tools > Page Options, click the Compatibility tab
and set all dropdowns to Custom.
Click OK

| The margin tab only works when you have tha page compatibility set to IE
only since Netscape Navigator doesn't support this feature. FP will hide
features like this that don't meet the page compatibility settings. By
default, the compatibility settings are set to IE and Navigator. You can
change this through the Tools | Page Options | Compatibility. Just be
careful though, as changing this to enable one feature like Margins may
enable other features that won't make your site look as good in multiple
bzowsers.
Hope this help{,

| Mark,
Is there an explanation of what 'Custom' means somewhere? Mine are all =
set to Custom but I never knew exactly what Custom takes into account.

| Hi Rob,
A quick and dirty explanation of custom would be that all features of
FrontPage will be available to you to use..but you would need to know which
features work in which browsers.

| Custom means that it is up to you to know what will or will not work in the
various browsers and versions. By selecting custom, FP give you access to
all components.
