| I am constructing a presentation in flash using scenes. I import bmp's to my
library. i drag them to the stage and convert them into either mc's or
graphics and then add them to the presentation in one of the scenes. I
continue working on other scenes when all of a sudden, the pics are gone.
Mc's, graphics and the bmp are missing from the library as well. The text is
still in the library, but when you click on them there is no display in the
library. Also, i cannot test the movie because the pics are missing from the
keyframes.
RESULT - when i click on any keyframe containing the missing pictures, i get
that good ole microsoft error message box that reads - flash has encountered a
problem and needs to shut down. send error report to microsoft? then all is
lost! PLEASE HELP!!!!

| Try using jpg's or gif's instead of BMP's, I've never used BMP's in Flash.

| I don't think that this is a Flash problem. My first suspect is the hard
drive. Test that. Do you have another drive that you can use to save the
movie to? If you get the same problem with two different drives, then
uninstall and reinstall Flash.
