| I'm updating my portfolio site and am currently displaying images as a
referenced file which is drawn from a folder on my server when the appropriate
button is pressed. Right now, in order to use a drop shadow behind each piece,
each image file contains a slice of the patterned BG with the drop-shadowed
portfolio piece sitting on top of it.
This is working out fine for most of the files, but for some reason the BG
comes in slightly shifted on others and causes a jarring effect when each new
piece becomes displayed. Is there a way to add a drop shadow behind each piece
(which I'm adding in photoshop) without having to lay it against a copied slice
of the bg display?
I've found plenty of ways to maintain a transparency while the image is
brought into the actual movie itself, but none of them work when I use the file
as a referenced image.
Have I explained this clearly? Any help would really be appreciated. Have a
great Labor Day.
