Author Interactive portfolio

I'm trying to build an interactive portfolio for my advertising and marketing
website and I'm not much of an ActionScript programmer, so I was wondering if
anyone knew of a tutorial out there that might help me. I have searched the
internet, far and wide, and I can't find what I'm looking for.

Here's how I'd like to set it up:

The page will have four sections: a subject menu (with thumbnails); a
scrolling thumbnail menu at the bottom of the page; a large viewing area; and a
text area.

The user will first select from the menu. The menu will be visible at all
times and will have entries like: logo, brochures, advertising campaigns, etc.
Clicking on a menu item will bring up the appropriate set of thumbnails at the
bottom of the page. The user can then scroll through the thumbnails, pick the
one they want, click on it and it will appear in the large viewing area with
the appropriate text.

That's it. That's all I want to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Doug
