| Hi,
I am new to the designing world
I have created a flash site wich is in one movieclip, I tested my flash movie
and it seems to work fine in flash and dreamweaver. When i upload my site, it
is slow. I am wondering how to make it faster, is it maybe something i am doing
in dreamweaver?
Thank you

| Hi Mickey,
I think it depends on what you mean by "slow". Does the file load slow? or is your animation jerky?
or maybe both? It helps to have some specifics of your problem.

| Hi Mickey, for this problem theres in flash a tool very useful, Banwith
profiler, here you can try diferent internet conection speed, also you can see
the time and the part of your animation that need a size reduction, and dont
forget eliminate unused items of the library .... mmm and try to divide your
site in various swf files.

| Depending on the amount of info you have in your movie (I.e. Animations and
music), the slowness may be because the file is still downloading as it is
playing.
As ARCALUZ suggested I would try using the bandwidth profiler to get a
better idea on where the "slowness" is coming from. Another thing that I
would suggest is using a pre-loader script that checks to ensure the entire
movie is loaded prior to playing.
