Author how do I build a selection guide?

I have been given a project at work as follows...

The interface shows a choice of motion coordinators (7 off). Upon selection,
the price and the selected coordinator name needs to appear in a text list.
Upon a selection, a new choice appears showing modules (19 0ff) that the
coordinators may use to extend their functionality. Not all modules fit all the
motion coordinators! When the modules are selected, the price and module name
needs to be added to the text list.
And...and... the prices need to be shown in either Sterling, Euros or Dollars
upon the click of their relevant buttons.

This is really driving me nuts!
What is the best way to do this? Arrays or XML or loads of mc's or what?
PLEASE HELP
