Author Cache Issues

Hi, I have found various bits of info around the net about this issue, but no
definitive answer as to how to stop it. It seems that windows is caching my
site somewhere making it difficult to test. I've tried all the usual html tags,
deleting all offline content, cntrl-f5, shift-refresh, none of which work.
I believe I can embed the swf using javascript in the index.html page and
amend a random number to the end of the filename.swf, generating a new filename
each time. Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial or some code
that will do this? and how it actually gets added to the html??
Thanks,
Nathan.
