In Need of Help - SWF Overlay Problem

| I'm really hoping that someone can help me out with this problem. I'm having a
great deal of difficulty trying to get an HTML/CSS menubar that I've created
for a site to overlay an swf file that I've embedded in an object tag.
I have a feeling that the object tag is the problem as no matter what I seem
to do, the menubar goes underneath the embedded swf instead of going over top
of it. I've tried a couple of things, but can't seem to get the swf file to be
layered underneath. I'm hoping that someone can provide me with an easy way to
do this.
I'm really desperate, since I have a number of pages with an HTML/CSS menubar
and SWF sitting underneath, and I'd really like to find a way to get the menu
to stop going under my SWF file.

| Thanks Dan,
I get great results now in Firefox and IE, but Safari keeps giving me trouble.
For some reason, Safari kind of "flickers" (as I roll down my menubar) when my
menubar goes overtop of the swf. I guess I'll have to keep playing with it a
bit more. I think I'm overlooking something in one of my z-index properties in
CSS. It's close though.

| Yeah, wmode doesn't work well in all browsers. That is one of the
limitations.
