Author Flash does not play in website

Flash file plays fine in a normal flash but when I put it in a website it does not play and just keeps loading and loading and loading and...(you get the idea).

Help???

Are you using a html editor? or just straight through flash?

Can you post the FLA so we can have a look? How did you get the SWF into the HTML page? Are there any loaded elements that it might be looking for?

Hi tness2007
I think if your movie work properly in Flash but not work in browser the
reason is probably in the browser.
So, in my opinion your web browser just use lower version of Flash player. If
you publish your movie for flash 8 for example and then tray viewing it in IE
with Flash Player 6 the browser will have such behavior ? will load infinitely
without to show no one part of the movie.
To check if it is true in your case do is following:
1. Right click in your browser to find which one version of Flash Player it
uses.
2. In Flash see: File/Publish Settings - open the second tab ? Flash to see
which one version of Flash do you publish the movie for.
Decrease flash version if necessary (use Version combobox in Flash tab of
Publish Settings form).
Better decision ? update the version of Flash Player in your browser ? it?s
the right decision if your flash movie just needs some features of the higher
version of flash player. You can do it on:
