Hello. I have a button. When you click it I want it to link to an external windows media player audio file. Can anybody help me? This is beginning to give me a headache!

dulcettones,

You need to place a media playing component in the Flash file, you cannot
simply link it using a button without an object. Use the help file to search
for "New Object" in reference to a new media window. When you click the button
the AS will generate a blank window and place the .wma file inside it.

Failing this, use Flash to convert the .wma to a .flv ...then use a FLV player
to show the video within a Flash file, which would then only require you to
place the player in and change one parametre as "URL" to the required filename.

Best Regards,
