Hi

I've made a few buttons in flash 8 but i'm having difficulty trying to get the
buttons to link to a url address. The buttons are symbols and i have used the
getURL function under Browser/Network actionscript but its just not working!
how do i get these buttons to work. I'm probably just being a bit dim!!

Hey dave if you have made your buttons to "symbols" then thats your problem.You
have to make them into "buttons" hit F8 on your keyboard and their "buttons".
ALso depending on what your button is like, should it be a solid object then
no "hit area" is needed inside your button. But if it should happen to be just
a text button then you need to make an active "hit area" inside the
button...these could be causing you problems.
