Hello,
I am using an old version of flash (Flash 5 because im too poor to buy the new
one)

I have created a flash based web-site that uses load-movie for each page.

My problem occures with updated material. After I update a page (the swf file)
and upload it, and then try to view it, the new information is not displayed.
(the old page is still shown)

Are the SWF files stuck in the cache or something like that? Is there a
solution to this problem?

Please help!!

Thank you.

They are either stuck in your cache or your ISPs.. you can try closing your
browser, wiping the cache, and then re-accessing your site using 'ctrl F5'
which normally prompts for the ISP to recheck its cache. Out of interest, are
you using IE to access your page? I normally find that it's the worst culprit
for hanging on to old versions - occassionally I can get Mozilla to update it
with a ctrl f5 without having to flush the cache..

I use FireFox.

I have done some looking around and have found that this is a common problem
with flash sites. There seem to be many ways to prevent the browser from saving
the swf in its cache.

A few such ways are listed here
