Hi all,

I have a big problem to display all my Flash animations correct. I am using the

http://www.maani.us/xml_charts/index.php

Maani XML charts. If I use them separately I have no problems to display them.
Have a look on my picture and the two right flash animations. Do I use now more
than four Flash animations some of the animations will be displayed like the
left two one on my picture. The bad or very difficult thing is that it happens
temporally. I tried to handle the cache control with these META Tags

<META HTTP-EQUIV="cache-control" CONTENT="no-cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Fri, Jun 12 1981 08:20:00 GMT">

or the unique ID like described in the FAQs but there was no change. To align
the objects doesn?t changed anything, too. With Firefox I have no problems and
everything works fine. Only with the IE 6 and 7 it doesn?t work and I have
these displacements. I think it?s a cache problem or a problem in which order
the objects are called. But I have no idea to solve it. Has anyone an idea or a
solution to solve this problem.

Thank you very much.
Dennis

Just have a look in my source code:

I'm having a lot of trouble getting several Flash apps to display properly in
IE. If the apps are displayed individually in a page they work fine .... but
when several are put together in one page, they render from the middle of the
<OBJECT> window, not the top left. .....
see attached image (I am using the charts from
http://www.maani.us/xml_charts/index.php... note that the code is identical for
all 4 charts)

Works fine on firefox..... breaks in IE 5, 6, 7.

There are suggestions that this is an IE cache problem ....however, I have
tried placing the following tags in my page, but they have no effect:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="cache-control" CONTENT="no-cache"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="pragma"
CONTENT="no-cache"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Fri, Jun 12 1981
08:20:00 GMT">

The Flash apps retrieve data from an XML file using a URL .... I have placed a
unique ID in that URL to bypass any caching of the XML file, but this also does
not work.

I still suspect it is a caching issue, but I cant find a workaround.

Has anyone else had this kind of issue with multiple Flash apps in IE?
.... any ideas for a solution?

Thank you
Dennis.
