Hey all. im absolutely new to this site, although i have been using adobe
photoshop for around one year now. i learnt how to use photoshop through sheer
curiosity. I tried doing the same for dreamweaver 8, but its just not working
for me. i am still learning, though. I really want to create an interactive
company profile for a certain small ngo here in Kenya, and i saw an example
done using flash. I have done a basic page, learnt how to tween, etc.
but i dont know how to do some critical things.
eg.
creating a link between two pages using an animated button
getting the button to animate through a mouseover
create animated transitions between pages.

i know these are basic things, but id really appreciate the help.

Joshua, that the kind of thing it is difficult to learn from posts but I
would suggest to start with the built in tutorials. The documentation
has some great information to get you started.

Take one piece at a time instead of creating the entire site at once.
Learn how to created 2 movies clips and a navbar that takes you from one
to the other, then try to animate the button and only then play with
page transitions...

You'll find that Flash provides many ways to do the same thing and
you'll learn about them with time and use it when it is appropriate.

Hi Joshua, i don't know if im aloud to suggest another website but when I
started using flash i found flashkit.com very handy - you can download source
files from the movie section and pick them apart and learn how thing work. It a
bit cheeky but its a quicker way to learn than doing hundreds of tutorials.
