| Dear people,
This if Frank who writing to you from Stockholm-Sweden.
I have home a page and I will develop it and have it completely in Flash. The
most important requirement is that I will market and sell products via my
homepage so people can directly buy products from my home page.
Each product have it's own page with some place for pictures and description
of each product.
Is there any training CD or DVD course somewhere that can learn me step by
step building a powerful Flash website?
I love to learn how all those amazing and wonderful pages are developed out
there on Internet. But i don't know how. Please help me find out how i can
teach me build powerful interactive Flash websites.
I have flash 8 installed on my computer and have some knowledge about working
in flash but I don't know how to develop an interactive and nice website?
I have even got trough Lynda.com course in Flash too but it was not about
developing and building powerful flash site.
Regards / Frank

| Farradel,
I found the learnflash.com site to be helpful and I purchased their
downloadable product at http://learnflash.com/flash8websites.html and
it is well worth the money IMHO. It covers building flash sites from
the basic levels to using some of the most advanced features available
in flash8.

| Completing all of the tutorials that comes with flash is useful for basics
which you say you already know. I'm not sure if there really is a one stop
place to go and learn about making a flash website. Simply experimenting and
building you knowledge base is the best way to go I feel.
Reguarding "pages" in flash, they don't really exist. Flash is all done on a
stage and the movement between these stages is done between frames. Its more
like a movie than html pages, and if your writing all your code theyre might
not be more than one page because everything can be moved, deleted, and changed
with the code.
I would love to help with any site design you may need help with, I am
currently a student and going back soon but feel free to email me at
cvarjas@XXXXXXXXXX
If you are really trying to create this all yourself then thats cool too. I
don't have an actual website up now, its more of a site of experments ive been
doing in flash. www.northeasternxposure.com is the url and check out the
artgen, that shows the real mathematical power of flash.
Feel free to ask any more questions.

| Than you so much for this link. WOW! I?m totally lost! Unbelievable! But I love
to know how these kinds of pages are created and how long time it takes to
build these kinds of pages?
One of my problems is to design a website temple in flash. I don?t know if I
must use Photoshop and then import the temple in Flash or just design it in
Flash (is it possible to do all details and design in Flash?). I even will know
which size is the best, 800X600 or for example 1024X768?
Anyone with suggestion or any idea?

| There is a thread called 800x600 screen resolution where we have posted
suggestions. Just do a search on this topic forum.
As far as where you design, I believe it is a personal choice. What you
feel more comfortable with but PSD and .ai import does not work 100% in
Flash these days. It is possible to design every thing in Flash and it
is best if you are an organized person when it comes to your library
symbols.
I personally use Fireworks, depending on the design I can export the
items as swf then import into flash or import the png to flash.
