hi there,

i apologize if 100 people have asked this question already, but i couldn't
find any questions about it. i've noticed that many times when i publish my
flash movies (usually with quite a bit of illustration) at 100% to fill the
browser window nicely, it acts all sluggish when it's online. and my computer
sounds like it works really hard. but i've seen other designers who do this all
the time and it's smooth as can be. what's the secret?? anyone have it?

thanks!

The question isn't really about the size but rather how much processing the
site requires. Does yours require a great deal of moving objects, alpha
levels, or is simply a complicated site? As opposed to the ones you are
comparing it to?

When you have objects that are moving around when thier size is very large or
there are many objects moving it requires a great deal more cpu time to
calculate every movement. That may the problem.
