| Hi
I currently teaching myself web programs (Flash and Dreamweaver) with the use
of Total Training dvd's. I come from a print design background, using Adobe
products, and because of this I have found when using flash, that using the
Flash Slide Presention, feels more like home with the pages down the side, and
have started to create websites. What I would like to know is... Is it ok to
create a website using Slide Presenations? Or will I run into problems later?
The site is for a mate, and will include about 4 sections, one of which a
portfolio gallery section.
I know from talking to some 'flashers' that they create "pages" by using
keyframes along the timeline, and then building movies inside, which I have
tried, but ran into problems when trying to script to play a section a couple
of stages back (sorry if this isn't making sense - not up on the lingo yet). I
would like to work like this as it keeps the flash doc cleaner, but the total
training dvd, doesn't really go into detail about building site, so for a short
fix I'm using the slides. Does anyone know of a book or dvd, which goes into
detail about building a site from scratch?
Any help greatly received.
Thanks
Wayne
